Description
This package includes an Aaton XTR+ camera body, B&W Cineasst videotap, two 400' Aaton magazines, short rods & wood grip w/cable, manual, two NiCad batteries (one of which is ready to be re-celled), one hard case for the camera, one hard case for mags, an Arri lens shade/filter holder, one Tiffen 85B filter, an Aaton mount to Arri-B lens adapter, and a Zeiss/Optex T2.4 12-120mm zoom with Super16 coverage.  The camera also suports recording timecode to film, and I have a sync cable for a Fostex PD-4 DAT recorder (as well as the recorder itself) which I plan to sell separately - let me know if you're interested. This is an outstanding camera package for commercials, independent films, or student film-makers.  It cost close to $40k when I bought it used from Cineasst in Canda ten years ago, and it has only been used to shoot one short film and one feature since then.  It has been maintained by Abel Cinetech in Los Angeles. The camera body's serial number is C1385.  This camera has a biphase motor, which means that it shoots a maximum of 54 frames per second.  The lens is a B-mount, and it includes an adapter to work on the camera, which uses an Aaton mount. If you are in the Los Angeles area, you are welcome to come inspect the package in person; just email me through eBay to arrange a visit.  I'm located near the 405 and 90 Freeway interchange.  Likewise, if you are in LA and you purchase the package, you are welcome to pick it up to avoid shipping charges. I'm reserving the right to end this auction early if I get an acceptable offer from another source besides eBay.  I didn't put on the short rods and wood grip on the camera when I took the pictures, but they are included in the package.  I have set a starting bid at an extremely low price - you will not find a better deal on an Aaton.  Feel free to contact me if you have questions, and I will try respond within a day.
