We all know how important dynamic shots are in film and commercial work. You are also probably aware of how expensive dolly systems are. The Axis Dolly LINEAR is an innovative system that allows linear linear movement. In working on independent films and shorts I often have come accross situations that called for impossibly low shots with movement. I designed the Axis Dolly to fill that gap. The Axis Dolly LINEAR is invertable, which allows for 2 heights. The mounting plate of the Axis Dolly LINEAR stands about an inch high in low mode. Low shots are so easy you'll wonder how you've lasted so long without a dolly like this. The Axis Dolly LINEAR is manufactured from 1/2 inch thick plate aluminum. It is stronger than any application you will need it for. I can't tell you how heavy a camera this will support, but I weigh 240 pounds and it supports my weight. I doubt you have a camera that heavy. The Axis Dolly is powder coated with a weather proof, black textured powdercoat so scatters what little light it does reflect so as not to reflect light onto your subject.
