Description
twiddlepoop Store This collection of Kodak publications runs from their famous Professional Handbook series to Captain Kodak, an 1899 pre-Hardy Boys thriller (for boys, of course) written around photography with a Kodak. Of particular interest are the issues of Studio Light. This was Kodak's periodical for the wedding and portrait crowd and each issue highlighted a different studio including one in Asia! Lots of salesmanship tips, some of which ("Never ask a question to which the answer can be 'no'.") stand the test of time. In addition, there's a 1910 Ansco catalogue and a brochure (loose pages) from the William Moprtensen School of Photography in Laguna Beach, CA, with several typical examples of Bill's soft-core art. There's a copy of the hefty 1990 The Story of Kodak, a coffee table volume full of historic Kodak images and equipment as well. Lots of reading fun and historical interest in this collection. I'm offering it at a modest starting price and no reserve.
