This a rare Leica M6 which comes from the very first production batch of M6 cameras in 1984. It’s a great user condition camera that can take outstanding photographs. The camera has a full metal top plate, the "Leitz" red logo, and the "Ernst Leitz Wetlar GMBH" top plate logo. It comes with a fully functional motor drive that can shoot single or multiple frames per second or can be turned off. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Mechanically and functionally the camera is 100% with an accurate rangefinder, light meter, shutter speeds (including the 1 sec), and flash sync. Additionally, the shutter compartment is clean and both shutters are tight with no light leakage or holes. The rangefinder focuses perfectly and is absolutely crystal clean (no decementing, haze, fungus, dust, or any other problems). Cosmetically the camera looks very good with no major dings or deep scratches. The camera is about a 8 out of 10 with only the faintest wear on the top plate, light bright marks from scrap rings above the lugs, light wear on battery cover, and wear on the rewind crank. The motor winder is in good condition with scratches on the bottom plastic battery housing. The original leather covering is 100% complete. The camera includes a Leica Winder M, body cap, strap, and light meter battery (all you'll need is film, a lens, and 4 AA batteries which will not be included). Bid with confidence.
