My new duties to my family left me with little time to browse the cosmos. I was only able to use it about 5 (very rewarding) times. We are preparing to move to be closer to the "little addition"s grandparents and space is limited. As I'm unable to share the joy of the scope with my little one for another few years, we've decided it best to allocate that space to the stroller and other such items. The UHTC optics are clean and razor sharp. The glass, mirrors, and multi-coatings are in excellent condition.  The tripod is in excellent condition and it is fully adjustable. This telescope is portable, one average strength person can set it up without problems.  The 10" high-contrast optics offer tremendous light gathering ability and can resolve deep sky objects with ease.  This version features optional 'Ultra High Transmission Coatings' (UHTC).  This is a fully computerized telescope; so you don't have to be a professional astronomer to see all those wonderful stars and objects above, just instruct the scope where to go!  To get started, simply turn on the scope,...watch video below of my wife starting the process.  Features Level North Technology (LNT) and it will automatically detect the levelness of the mount, detect north, take GPS coordinates, and also automatically enter the current time and date. From there, point to the 1st alignment star, center that star in the field of view and press enter. The Autostar II handset is easy to use and contains over 100,000 objects in its database (for both north and south hemispheres).
